The New Orleans Tombs series is the brainchild of New Orleans artist Grey Cross and part of a larger artistic series called "Walking in the City of the Dead".

 

Each sculpture is handmade and one of a kind. Each sculpture is signed and numbered on the underside and comes with a certificate of authenticity which includes a short obituary/bio of those interred within the tomb. Please note that these are fictitious tombs and people and are an amalgam of real New Orleans cemeteries. The obituary/bio is included with each certficate.
