Hardie Grant Magazines came to me in mid-2011 to assist with the production of a new project titled James Halliday's Wine Companion magazine. Working as the stylist for all food related editorial features - I brought a restrained sense of shabby-chic to all the (food) still photography required. Working closely with the fabulous Catherine Sutherland (photographer) we managed to deliver strong editorial pages as well as a launch issue cover that the team at Hardie Grant Magazines were delighted with.

Another fabulous issue of James Halliday's Wine Companion magazine (below). I completely fell in love with this cover, beautifully shot by Catherine Sutherland and conceived by our art director Dallas at Hardie Grant Magazines. The Argentine inspired meat recipes written by Adrian Richardson were a delight to pull together. Particularly demanding was the challenge of arranging raw sausages in an appetising and pleasing way - however, I was most pleased with our execution.
With this being an Autumnal issue (Apr/May 2012) the rich, cosy and (mainly) fruity desserts were not only very timely, but also a visually striking arrangement and a very rewarding range of recipes to style.
