This was a vexel (fake vector) done in Photoshop of a ScionFR-S with the Rocketbunny bodykit. There were a total of 130~ layers in this project. I started this in September 2014, but due to school and the lack of motivation, I didn't touch it for a couple months when I was halfway done. After coming home from my first year of university, I buckled down and pushed myself to finish this project. Feel free to scroll down for the step-by-step, and don't forget to appreciate this project if you liked it!
Started with an outline, using the Pen Tool. This was probably the least time-consuming portion of the project.
I started with the hood (haha) and got the basic reflections down off the reference image.
Moving onto the panel on the side...
Finishing the door and the rear quarter panel, with the addition of the window.
Adding the spoiler and interior/windshield.
This... this was probably the most time consuming portion, second to the headlights and wheels. The front bumper had lots of reflections, and this is where I originally put the project on hiatus. After getting over this bump, the rest of the car was finished relatively quickly.

Headlights... lots of small details, lots of time spent on it.
Adding small details, like the mesh in the front, and rivets on the side panels.
Wheels! Easier to do than headlights, but still difficult because of the shape. Still had fun seeing it become whole though.
Shadows.
Adding a background, the paint splatter, and Scion slogan "what moves you" to complete the vexel.
Thanks for viewing!
