Panther Head/ Capul de panteră
Panther Head is a new exercise about view and contexts that view is creating.

Gallery26 presented, within the framework of this exhibition, an installationconsisting of several three-dimensional figures and a small painted canvas. Almostall pieces are covered with a leopard fur pattern (PantheraPardus), committedto avoid the direct contact of the viewer with the painting. The picture isfavoured by its central position and by the medium used, but thecontext, very similar to an oparteffect, is leading to a different order of reception.
Theinstallation can be taken and as a camouflage strategy or an essayabout upheaval, in the lighter sense of confusion, despite theapparent order and symmetry. In a certain sense, PantherHead putsinto question notions and concepts, such as "what is really important",what are distance and illusion, of course, including ridiculous andserious accents which are not meant to be avoided.
