4th Graphic Colony of Young

Symposium/10-18 Augusst 2013/ Prolom Banja

Nine handmade books were created during the residency at the Colony mentored by Bojana Petković and Isidora Nikolić. Participants of the Symposium are Milica Butković, Luka Knežević-Strika, Jelena Mijić, Sandra Milanović, Hristina Papadopulos, Marija Radosavljević i Miloš Ćosović.

Books have been printed using silk-screen technique on the finest art papers produced using newest technologies and printed with special ecological water based printing inks. The print run of each edition is limited to 25 signed copies.

And my piece is about tarot cards.

And each card represents one of participants of the Symposium.

it could mean: justice, fairness, truth, cause and effect...

/ as a mentor she had the last word /

it could mean: hope, renewal, inspiration, serenity...

/ as the organizer of the colony and mentor she was in charge to lead us like stars in the sky /
