UDK Underwater Scene
A fantasy environment depicting a rock spire under the sea
This underwater scene was an attempt at something different in UDK. I had envisioned something akin to a giant aquarium with masses of fish swirling round in circles, before it eventually evolved into the current swirling path, following a 'tour-guide' fish.
The entire project took two months from concept to end.
A high-poly version of some of the coral used throughout the scene, created in ZBrush.
All textures in the scene were created from scratch, with the exception of the fish - which used photo-sourced images.
