These are some of the designs I presented for this rebranding project. The buyers at DKNY mentioned a few aspirational brands, such as Michael Kors or Tory Burch, and based on that alone I was able to create an entire collection that felt cohesive, and was in alignment to where DKNY wanted to go with their image.
I used a lot of saffiano leather inlay, as well as a incorporating their logo into status metal type silhouettes. I also had to be very price conscious while designing and technical spec'ing the collection - as there were a lot of hidden costs.
Ultimately however, the collection was well-received both internally at Sequin, as well as with the DKNY buyers.
