Originally created for Creative Allies.com Hollywood Undead illustration/design contest, Ive made some changes to create a poster in honor of Dia de Muertos

Original Design: Boulevard Of Broken Souls

Inspired by both the music and theme of Hollywood Undead’s current album ‘Day of the Dead’, my piece is reminiscent of traditional Day of the Dead altars. I used classic colors and elements associated with Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) but used imagery synonymous with H.U. Marigold flowers traditionally symbolize death; there are ten flowers to represent the last ten years of Hollywood Undead and the six lit candles represent each member. The background loosely resembles Hollywood Boulevard with a weathered L.A cityscape in the fare distance and palm trees on fire act as additional altar candles.

We're looking for unique illustrations and paintings inspired by a 'Day Of The Dead' theme.

Things You Need To Include:

Required text: 'Hollywood Undead' and 'Day Of The Dead'.
All submissions must be original art/illustrations.
The winning designer should be able to submit a layered file (.psd, .eps, .ai) of the winning design.

Artwork Specs:

Your file should be at least 9" x 9" and have a minimum resolution of 200 dpi
Accepted file formats: .JPG, .JPEG, .TIF, .TIFF, .EPS, .PNG
.TIFF (or .TIF) formats should be flattened
.EPS formats must have all type converted to vector paths (traced or outlined)
RGB colorspace only
Max file size is 60mb
