FLUSSH MAGAZINE is a fictional lifestyle design magazine that is curated for the creatives. The masthead is designed as an identity for the magazine and the slashes represent the double ‘S‘ in FLUSSH. Photos are taken and carefully selected to match the editorial content. The cover portrays a photo of political propaganda targeted at voters, this is used to further highlight Ellen Lupton’s belief on how typography will continue to expand its power and pervasiveness. The tracing paper book jacket is used in order to retain the photo as a whole instead of having the masthead printed on the cover and serving as a distraction.
