Graphic Design Project

This was my very first complete project in Photoshop, let alone Graphic Design. It was a simple selection exercise yet I think this is where, perhaps subconsciously, I discovered my taste as a designer.
This was one of the first projects I did in Photoshop, and it's a surrealist image. I wanted to incorporate objects I find beautiful yet that represent different types of beauty.
This is a font-object-animal that was one of my first projects in Illustrator; it is of a whale.
This is an identity system I created for my company Cookie Monster, a hip packaged cookie-dough company. Both the business card and the envelope are to be made out of vellum, which is a textured transparent paper.
This is a poster for the play Tartuffe that was being performed at my high school. This poster was created in Photoshop and was one of my first major projects. It was actually selected for awards in a couple art competitions, including my school competition and also the Illinois Regional High School Competition.
This is a poster that I created for the play The Good Times Are Killing Me; the play is centered around two girls as they face racism in America in the 1960s, yet there is an aspect of liveliness and fun that is also present throughout the production.
This was my first design for Threadless for the Shatter-Rupture-Break challenge, the shirt has multiple meanings as it can refer to individuality and also peace against violence.
This was my second tee for Threadless, it serves as a comment on the societal pressure the media encourages on women and their beauty image.
This is a spread that appears in my Independent Project magazine but also started as my piece for the Magazine Spread project on Twiggy. This is one of my favorite pieces.
This is a spread from my Independent Project which was an art magazine I created. This is a spread including pictures I took of my sister and of nature at the South Pond.
These are images of my Indpendent Project. I made an art magazine called "ambivalence." There are more spreads but these are just a few images.
