During my last semester of second year I was assigned to design a communal housing development in Msida (Malta). The site was on the smaller side, considering the required output of habitable units, and it was over-looking a main road, one of the busiest roads in Malta in fact. Having said that I tried to contextualise the project while not let its bleek surroundings affect it negatively. My main aim was to mould the site to be the cornerstone in a regenerative process of the residential part of Msida, through the intentional use of physical, visual and psychological links.
