Design Philosophy
For the first step of every project, I try to think of a central theme that I want the design to convey. After reaching a theme, I begin bridging the gap between the idea and the visual. In many cases, this step can take the longest. Sometimes the work that I've been working on for the past two hours just doesn't turn out right, and I jump all the way back to square one, scrapping all of my progress. After the edits, re-edits, and the re-re-edits (when the visual finally connects with the idea), I just sit and stare for a while. And no, I am not checking every single pixel for perfection at this point. I simply sit back, and imagine what kinds of emotions the work would invoke. What is laid down before you is a cumulation of many long nights of trackpad clicks, keyboard taps, and coffee sips. Please enjoy. (:
