Inspired by the rich culture, history and heritage in Singapore. Polished reveals a nostalgic reference to a nation that is leaving grasp of their own roots. Through the theme of the Singaporean Dandy, Polished indentifies the ethnic dandy as a culturally lost persona. He seeks his Singapore home by embellishing his life and style with influences from the Malay, Indian and Chinese culture, with a dash of the British edge.

This exhibition features an English barber shop as the centrestage to showcase the infusion of the western culture in Singapore as well as to instill the idea of classic grooming.
