The newbie in the Singapore used phone 'hood, Bounce Mobile was up against well-established and much-loved ah beng shops. But how do we turn Singaporeans' affection away from these national icons towards an international corporation? We do not.
 
We simply reminded consumers of the little annoyances they experienced doing business with their favourite ah bengs and ah lians, and let them know that they could in good conscience love the beng, not the pain.
