Illustrations of Gambino are used as a creative and fun form of navigation and as means of showing the evolution of Gambino’s style. These illustrations move to the left.  Once one reaches the middle, it enlarges and text appears below it to indicate what navigation item it represents. Users can simply click on any one of the illustrations, regardless if it is in the middle, to navigate to a certain page. This same idea is repeated on the table version of the home page.

These arrows are present on the mobile version of the home page to tell the user that they can swipe left or right to access another navigation item.

This is the first page that will appear when the user arrives to the gallery page. The shirt icons maintain the style evolution aspect of the site and each shirt can take the user to a different set of videos that Gambino has created. Each shirt and its text take turns getting bold for a few seconds before moving on to the next in a leftward motion. This creates a sense of movement similar to the home page. Having the icons move in the open layout is a representation of the freedom that Gambino takes advantage of whenever he’s creating his music.  On the desktop, the user can hover their cursor over any one of the shirts to make it bold again.

The About Page contains several icons in the same style as the shirts on the gallery page to maintain uniformity throughout the pages and the airy tone of the website. Like on the home page, each icon takes turns being highlighted in the middle. Once the icon reaches the middle, a fun fact about Gambino pops up above it for several seconds so the user can get to know him. The “X” provides a way for users to exit. The user can go back and click on an icon at any time to see a fact again. 

Here again, are the arrows to indicate that the user can swipe left or right to get to another icon on their mobile device.

Once the user is on a particular icon, tapping the icon will take them to the fact page accompanying it. The text is placed toward the top of the device so the fact is not limited to a couple lines. This example has five lines of text and can fit more if necessary.
