En Uruguay, el 24 de agosto se conoce como La Noche de la Nostalgia. En esa fecha se organizan un gran número de fiestas en discotecas, locales nocturnos y carpas montables con música bailable de los 60s, 70s, 80s y 90s, transformándose en uno de los eventos más importantes del país. Por otro lado, el aumento de accidentes de tránsito esa noche, ocasionado por la ingesta de alcohol y la conducción imprudente, se convirtió en un gran problema; situación que buscamos exponer para concientizar a la población.

In Uruguay, August 24 is known as the Night of Nostalgia. On that date, a large number of parties are organised in discos, nightclubs, and tents with dance music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, becoming one of the most important events in the country. On the other hand, the increase in traffic accidents that night, caused by alcohol intake and reckless driving, became a big problem, a situation that we seek to expose to raise awareness among the population.
