07 | "Animación Ilustrada NBC"
En Recreo se nos encargó diseñar y producir un video para poder comunicar tecnologías beneficiosas para la acuicultura. El NBC (Núcleo de Biotecnología Curauma) nos entregó material, textos e imágenes referenciales, para instruirnos en su proyecto sobre la generación de bioenergía a partir de residuos orgánicos acumulados en el mar, producto de la engorda de salmones.
Para enfrentar el encargo se desarrolló un guión que tenía el objetivo de simplificar los procesos científicos para poder comunicar y dar a entender la tecnología, en una animación de corta duración. Para esto se diseñaron dos estilos visuales complementarios: Animaciones 3D para contextualizar al espectador y aproximar a la realidad del lugar. Animaciones 2D para ilustrar mas claramente el proceso general.
Si bien me tocó participar en todo el proceso (desde las reuniones con el cliente, hasta el diseño del guión y dirección general), para la utilidad de este portafolio quiero destacar el trabajo realizado en la animación 2D. Para el cual se creó un lenguaje visual icónico de carácter infográfico, que buscaba presentar las distintas etapas del proceso general de manera simplificada.

The NBC (Core for Biotechnology Curauma) gave us referential material, mostly texts and pictures to instruct us in its project on the generation of bioenergy from organic waste accumulated at sea, product of salmon fattening. To embrace the task we developed a script intended to simplify the scientific process to communicate and explain the technology in a short animation.
