The moon had just risen, I took a picture of it. The location I was at was an older hotel parking lot. Nothing to add to this but the top of their roof.
Lighthouses, Can't beat them. I knew going into this that I am incapable of getting a tack sharp eclipse picture. It may be the equipment, it's probably the photographer. It's drives me nuts. So, I figure if I take a picture of something else and just make sure the moon is there and Identifiable, I'm good.
The difference between a moon at this stage of an eclipse and a moon at this stage in a lunar cycle is?
 
Here I decided to take a 10 second exposure and just play with the zoom while the shutter was open. Not a new technique by any means, but I've never seen anyone try it on an Eclipse.
