Prior to the book being published, I read the manuscript provided by the author (Catherine DeMasque) to generate my idea for the illustration. This design is mixed media; Corel Painter and Photoshop were used. Pages: 344 | Genre: Fantasy | Age: 9 - Adult | It's a page turner :)(:
Synopsis:
Deep in the Heart of an English manor estate lays a doorway to another realm. Where myth lives, wild, beautiful, yet threatened to die and disappear. During World War II, four children were sent to live with their eccentric Uncle who owned the manor. There, the children stumbled upon a door leading to another realm only to learn that their arrival was prophesied one thousand years prior.
As it was written, only when they all agreed to stay and reside at the Palace and rule the land, would Arcas be allowed to wake his family from their enchanted sleep. Upon awakening, they could then fight together to rid their land of evil. However, when Sarah chose to stay on earth and live out her life....
