Greenpeace comic

Greenpeace comic
The mystery of McKinsey's Black Box
This was a comic created for Greenpeace to be handed out at the 2011 climate change conference in Durban, South Africa. Below is a quick walk through from thumbnail through to the final comic!

The comic was published in both English and French. For a more indepth view of the project, with a slideshow of the individual panels, as well as details on the character design and font creation please visit eddbaldry.co.uk/casestudies/greenpeace-case-study/
The pre-draft thumbnail version. Literally an idea on the back of an envelope!
The draft thumbnail stage where we were making sure that all of the text Greenpeace needed would fit into the A3 format.
The first draft of the thumbnails where we start to develop the characterisations of McKinsey, the scientist and teenage boy.
Starting to tighten up the thumbnails stage and responding to changes requested by Greenpeace.
The final inks for Greenpeace to approve.
And finally... the finished comic with both tonal and full-colour added.
