A tavola! is a project inspired by eating habits and traditions coming from an Italian family. Rituals and family recipes were translated into stories, which later inspired the design of a tableware collection with emotional connotations. Every piece has it's own particular way to reveal a hidden message, and when put together, all the pieces tell a story that comes to life through food itself.
Ceramic plate with gold handwriting and carved message. Carved message in the bottom of the plate works as a stamp on bread and completes the message written in gold.  /  Ceramic spoon with lace applied designs and gold handwriting. Dripping holes allow sauce to drip onto the table cloth. /
Ceramic dessert spoons with gold handwriting (pie spoon: diagonal cut covered in chocolate  -  panna cotta spoon: dripping holes covered in caramel  -  dessert spoon: covered in white chocolate).  /
Laser cut lace edible napkin. The napkin becomes a part of the dessert.  /
Handmade silkscreen printing on egyptian cotton with heat activated base and white puff base. The colored flowers indicate each place on the table, when the hot plate is placed on top of it, it's color changes from brown to orange. When drops of sauce fall on the white puff base, hidden messages become visible.  /
