To translate the dark feel the story, from a different perspective, includes an illustration of two scenes from “Rapunzel”. On the front cover it shows the prince falling down from the tower and on the back the scissors cutting Rapunzel’s hair to give an atmosphere of suspense. The typeface used for the title will mimic her hair relating it to the protagonist of the story and establish a complementing font for the rest of the text. The illustrations were made in traditional watercolors and color pencils to give that antique and period look connecting it with the nineteenth century.
