Every spring the Winona State University Art Department hosts a gallery series of Senior Shows that exhibit the talents of graduating seniors. Each show is generated as a collaborative effort by students who work together to conceptualize a collective theme for their work. As the Graphic Design Intern, I was tasked with designing a print publication that promoted the series of four exhibitions in 2011. My challenge was to create an appealing design that clearly organized the content in the appropriate sequence. My solution was to produce a single-fold card instead of a standard reversible postcard. This allowed me to avoid an overcrowded and chaotic design by providing me with more space to organize the information in a linear graphic that established a progressive sequence of events.
