Exploring the use and need for non-religious sites of sanctuary for communal and individual peace, reflection and relaxation in both urban and rural environments, in collaboration wth architect and urban planner Lee Ivett.

The bamboo sanctuary was installed in a Stalled Spaces venue in Glasgow, which is run by arts and community organisation Wave Particle, in Caledonia Road Church ruin. It is still on site and open for use on request via Lee Ivett and Wave Particle, and will be open for events.

The second sanctuary installation was also produced in collaboration with Lee Ivett, this time for the the 2015 Hello Wood design festival, Project Village, in Hungary, alongside a team of 10 architecture students, artists, designers, and community faciliators.
