Her Ladyship has heard a rumor about the most amazing fabric merchant who has docked at the Yorkshire, a metropolis airship. And she needs to have the latest fabric for the first ball of the season. So the message is sent down the line and to the Captain.
While the Captain is plotting the new course he notices a problem. A huge problem. In order to get to Yorkshire in time to get the fabric, then to the gala on time, he will have to run his ship hard. Very hard. And she’s not as young as she used to be and will likely need some serious repairs once they arrive at Yorkshire, if all goes well.
But if he has his way, his poor baby won’t be put through such a rigorous affair. So he marches to the upper levels, maps in tow, to show her ladyship that her precious fabric isn’t a possibility.
And he interrupts teatime.
