Um projeto arquitetônico grandioso, para abrigar biblioteca e teatro; transformador, para virar referência no campus; e audacioso, para colocar o centro universitário e a cidade em um novo patamar. Nesse cenário, projetamos a identidade visual e o sistema de Wayfinding Design que compõem o Centro Cultural Univates.
Nossa principal escolha foi buscar uma total integração com a arquitetura.

Para nós, essa referência seria mais valiosa ao ambiente do que uma comunicação independente.
A identidade visual apostou no reconhecimento das fachadas para representar o centro cultural e suas funções e fazer referência à marca da Univates. O sistema de Wayfinding Design foi mais abstrato em sua referência, utilizando as linhas do ambiente e da nova identidade nas formas dos elementos e nos traços do sistema de pictogramas.

Intended to house a library and a theater, this grand and transformative architectural project was to become a focal point on campus and raise the university and the city center to a new level. We contributed the visual identity and the Wayfinding system to Univates Cultural Center project.
Our main goal was to integrate our work with the architecture. For us, this would be more valuableto the environment than to individual communication elements themselves.
Using the Cultural Center’s facades and the University’s visual imagery, we created an identity that reflects the whole scenario. The Wayfinding abstracts these references, using the lines of the environment and its new identity in the forms of the elements and features of the pictographic system.
