Out & About Grand Rapids is a Web app currently in development. The concept is that the app will generate ideas for activities based on likes/dislikes and what is going on in town.
Because the app is able to generate creative, relevant activities with little or no effort, the logo needed to be trendy yet simple. The 'and' symbol in the middle showcases the literal meaning of 'out' with arrows extending from the center to the outer circle. The 'about' is portrayed in the circular arrow emcompassing the inner arrows. The circular icons below the name are graphical elements that help the user identify the type of activity. These are also supposed to resemble the infinite identity of the ellipsis.
