I created a design spread for a magazine article in Indesign. Cesar Monteiro is an artist who create digital art by painting on his laptop. During our interview I asked him what his favorite is, which is a turquoise blue green mix, he sent me a picture that had his favorite color and I used the paint drop tool to get the exact shade.
Because Cesar painted two of the three artworks I featured, I decided to go with a brush style font (Dry Brush) for headers and title, and then choose an extremely plain and straight font (Geosans) for the magazine text that people would read.
I interview my friend Cesar whom is a designer with a project that benefited both of us. I use him to create a spread and he gets some of his work shown. An amazing artist and great friend who was a great help. Check him out as TheKey or on LinkedIn.
