Utilizing 18 gauge steel sheet, this experimentation process starts as an exercise to create an asymmetrical composition. Hollow enclosed forms were the inspiration for this product. Using geometric figures, thisdesk lamp is a juxtaposition of precise figures in an unexpected position.
The pieces are strategically welded to provide a sturdy product and yet create a composition that seems to be defying gravity. LED lights are installed on the base to provide diffused light, making this part sculpture and part lamp.
