Glenn Doogan's profile

Automotive Conversions

I am currently working for a company that is involved with the building and conversion of ambulances. One of my roles is to create all the internal lockers in 3D, these drawings are used for client confirmation, production team assembly and as part of the mass calculation for the entire vehicle. These models are also used for the production of my CNC files, these files allow me to create panels that have all the clearance and correct measurements for first time assembly of the physical parts.

Below are some different renderings. Each job has its own parameters and complications. These come in the form of customer expectations/ desires and realistic space and weight management.
Above; is the internal locker layout for a large box body ambulance

Below; is another Box body assembly, but this is for a different client, hence the different layout. As you scroll down you will see the drawings, mentioned above, used for production, assembly and confirmation
