Ex libris #1 is inspired by and designed for the act of reading. The object takes the physicality involved in opening and browsing through a book as the key gesture for the object’s design. Under the premise of ‘opening the source of knowledge’, turning the lamp on becomes a metaphor for the information flowing and its dialogue with the user made visible through light.
