Sherbetty Lollikitten as an Anime

I thought about two girls teaming up to fight some form of darkness.  I decided to go with assault rifles for weapons. Based in Tokyo Japan I decided to go with a Manga comic style poster, this is why there are sections breaking up the page. I chose a proper villain and added Japanese environment. The raining grey Tokyo City image adds to the sadness and dark times of the fighting they must endure. As for the other image with bright blues and greens, I chose this to represent the beginning. The White flare being shot into the sky as the girl looks of fright or to be caught off guard as if to say, so it has begun. Font choices are a classic white, with a variation in sizes to establish a hierarchy.
Sherbetty Lollikittens as a Documentary

This movie poster idea is what originally stemmed from the Sherbetty Lollikittens vision. This is actually Kyary Pamyu Pamyu a Japanese singer/model.  She is very outside the box and over the top.  I felt that she truly fit what I was seeking for this documentary. The tagline clearly states the intended experience for the viewer. This is a film about her first world tour. Title for this poster is the most important, followed by date, experience and ticket availability.
Sherbetty Lollikittens as a Fantasy

This idea began with wanting to make a 2D style movie poster.  I was inspired by Hayao Miyazaki’s work in traditional 2D animation. This is where I chose a powerful image as the background, added a book of magic and the three mischievous magical kittens.  All of the font colors are meant to add to the poster but not to take away from the powerful main image.  Sherbetty Lollikittens font type and color choice is just enough to make it stand out and give a magical quality. All of the names featured on this poster are inspired by Hayao Miyazaki’s film Howl’s Moving Castle.

The story is of a girl who finds a magic book and befriends 3 magical kitties.
