This was a costume that I have had on my list to make for awhile. As much as I loved my original Tharja costume, I really liked the design for this one. I took some artistic liberties in the design so I would feel more comfortable wearing it. The headdress and collar are made out of foam sheets and worbla. I spray painted it gold and went back to pair shadows and details in acrylic paint. I really enjoyed working with this medium; it's just really cool to see how maluable the worbla gets when you heat it up.
The top for Tharja was the bra from my original Tharja costume that I recycled for this project. I added the gold to the top. I made my own pattern for the sleeves and the skirt. The skirt was a bit frustrating and took a couple tries before I found a design that I liked. The bodysuit was not made by me. The wig is cut and lightly styled by me.
