About: Using the craft of leather embossing and engraving, I have picked up a lost tradition very important to the Rajasthani lineage. To mark their time as the head of the family, the rulers used to engrave a motif on the borders of the door(shown in moodboard) of the palace and pass it on to their sons. The new ruler engraved his own motif. Contemporarizing the concept, the broad armrest of the chair features a leather engraved motif. Also, the form has been carefully designed keeping in mind the user persona.
