Perched atop a rocky plateau, The Barn houses the client's modern horses, his horsepower that is. With room for eight cars, one RV, a mechanics shop, and a loft game room, this barn is the ultimate man cave. A large gabion wall leads the eye into the entry, while the slopping roof gives a glipse to the view beyond. Corten steel, board form concrete, and a corregated metal roof enclose the space with the channel glass turning the structure into a glowing lantern at night.
A second material option involed a more solidified concrete base with operable slatted wood doors.
