This is my project for titulation at my school 2 years ago. It's about a prequel to the amazing game The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. I decided to take part of the manga in Hyrule Historia and make a whole story about how Link's father made Hyrule (Skyloft) rise in the sky.

 

Just a side note, There is a change between watercolor and pencil, this is because of how my view of the project changes and i had to redraw all I did in watercolor to pencils.

I know I'm the worst when drawing typography but i tried to make it look as if Link's father was making all of these. He's a Lieutenant so he has no idea of how typography works, almost like I do.

In this story, there is no triforce, there is a complete golden triangle that belongs to 4 deities. Din, Farore, Nayru and the last one is Ganon. Ganon trying to steal the entire golden triangle could only steal "his part" leaving it as we now know as triforce.

Link's father is married to Fay and she is pregnant. He is a Lieutenant and a very close friend to the King of Hyrule. He writes everything he sees and hears in a little notebook that he uses as a binnacle. This little notebook contains all the history of how he fights against the creatures Ganon has put a curse on. They were normal living creatures in their enviroments whe Ganon cursed them and the land they are in.

There are three main areas and they look like the map in Skyward Sword but the difference here is that they have been corrupted so each one is a wasteland of its own kind. 

 

Farone woods and Sapling Lair are on the same area. The Faron woods could seem normal but its creatures are more agressive and territorial. They will kill anyone who is messing around in their territory.

These are some of the creatures living in Faron woods. I haven't scanned all of them but I'll update this as soon as i can.

Before the Skyview Temple, there was a big tree known as Sapling Lair. It was the home of a big worm called Molgera.

As i was writing the history, I tried to put together somethings I thought would be great. In this case I made Molgera to be the mother of two famous bosses, Twinmold. Molgera had two eggs from where Twinmold would hatch.

To finish this first part, Link's father would be able to build weapons from materials of the slained animals. Said animals would also have one of the many pieces from a blue print to build in this case the Clawshot. The weapon design is from a friend of mine named Erwin Alain Jurado Mandujano.

Last one, Link's father finds with each boss one of the relics that the Goddesses left behind. In this case is the Farore's tunic.
