Color Theory - Branding & Color

Fal 2015

Project Description: Using the color theory principles learned in class, rebrand a company's logo, website, packaging or retail space. Consider the organization's personality, users/client base, and mood created by current and new color scheme.
New Logo. Digital. New logo uses a triadic color scheme (red, blue and yellow, plus 75% gray) and balanced color proportion. The design better reflects the dual nature of the organization and projects the mission of supporting a modern military force. Logo was officially adopted by the organization, copyright 2016 © National Guard Association.
New Home Page. Digital. New home page continues the triadic color scheme and uses an additional accent color (mint green) to give hierarchy to the most important reason for visiting the site: to drive membership renewal. Logo copyright 2016 © National Guard Association.
New Home Page previewing navigation interaction. Another accent color was added to the navigation interaction in order to aid usability. Logo copyright 2016 © National Guard Association.
New Legislation Page. Header and footer continues the original color scheme and green is added for consistency to indicate a clickable button like the Membership Renewal button but darker to maintain the hierarchy of membership . Logo copyright 2016 © National Guard Association.
