Project Summary
Company Name: Deaf Ear Records
Objective: Work as part of a team to create marketing material for Deaf Ear Records Halloween Pub Crawl. I specifically worked on a flash animation video to advertise the event.
Research: I researched the company and a number of horror and cult classic movies to pull together some of my favorable elements for this video.
Concept and Solution: The idea was to parody a slew of famous horror moments in such a way to recommend going out to Deaf Ear's event. I built upon the idea that our team was using, the halloween pumpkin guy, aka Peter the Party Pumpkin, as the primary antagonist. I created a vector version of the pumpkin using my team partner, Mikal Olson's, concept art, and created a number of other characters to interact in the advertising scenario.
I wrote a script, screenplay, and storyboard, created vector art, recorded audio, found free to use music, edited the audio, created animations, and edited the video to its current finalized state.
