brief / Look and observe typographic signage, signals and information that were found in areas
of Plymouth (Plymouth Old Town, Devonport and Stonehouse) which reflects on some hidden
local stories through the use of type. The final output was to produce one, or a series of more refined pieces of work for the Plymouth Histories Festival 2014, to be exhibited in Drakes Circus.

realisation / The final outcome was a series of posters made up of individual letters that I had redrawn, which were found all around the historic areas of Plymouth. I used the letters to form words or names relevant to key events, places and people throughout Plymouth’s history and provided a piece of information on the subject matter below the main print.
