Noir: Femme Fatale
This set is my homage to the , as well as "retro-ism." I love as a whole. I love everything about it, from the tragic storylines and over-the-top dialog to the cinematography. The light to shadow contrasts of the noir genre have always intrigued me and was the catalyst for getting me into photography and cinematography. I remember the first film (technically ) I saw that got me looking at lighting and the beauty of contrast was, "Blade Runner" (Ridley Scott and Jordan Cronenweth, 1982). To me this film is genius. It inspires me to this day and is my favorite film of all-time.
