ELLE Magazine Spoof Ad

A spoof advertisement is an unreal advertisement for a product that exist or does not exist used to draw a negative attention on a real advertisement or negative fact/point the company does. I came across an article that caught my attention. It was discussed an issue of VOGUE Magazine that had a series of photos of a 10 year-old girl looking like an adult. Children modeling is ok as long as they act like children, but exposing them to the adult lifestyle since that age is dangerous and it is an example of sexualizing and adultification. To show that, I photographed a 4 year old model, whose wearing, looking and pausing like a woman on the cover of ELLE magazine. I specifically chose that age to warn parents that at that age your child is expected to play and live childhood, and the image that magazines are trying to send is totally wrong and will harm children.
