Fedxx — "The community is fed"

FEDxx is a GRUB HUB
The mission of ‘FEDxx’ (pronounced FED-kiss-kiss) is to provide access to nutritious, sustainable food and friendship to those who are food insecure. The project’s target area is Weston-super-Mare.
It is a scheme to encourage donations of fresh produce and ingredients to communities who can come together to cook and share healthy, nutritious meals. To expand upon this people bring fresh ingredients and can eat food that they create together as well as the fact that anyone would be available to come and eat what is cooked; people who cannot gain access to a healthy, nutritious meal for any reason are welcome to come and enjoy in a welcoming, communal place. The leftover food stock from the events can be given out at key locations (possibly a link to emergency hot food outlets).
On top of this fresh, canned or sealed ingredients can be donated by anyone who cannot make it to the events or doesn’t wish to attend although food leftovers has too may connotations with being left over and ‘used’, fresh ingredients has a better feel to it — better nutrition, better health.
Taking inspiration from the famous Paris 1968 posters for their feel of community solidarity and personal, hand-rendered styling. The fedxx illustration style is unique and rough around the edges, it can easily be replicated and reproduced in print but offers and fun and imaginative look while still
being legible.
With the outcome of my research being an event, I decided to design deliverables that would help fedxx function through driving up donations
and awareness.
For example, a website to allow people to access charity services, donate and order party packs. As well as this I branded a delivery bike for volunteered ‘fed runners’ who collect
food donations.
And finally I created a party pack for the community to host their own fedxx events on allocated ‘fed days’.
