This was the "Smiley Face" Project, our objective was to make a creative version of a smiley face icon with our own catch phrase such as "Have A ____ Day!", something along those lines. I chose to go with G1 Megatron wearing shades. We had to create an original design, we could also trace over images of characters from online. What I did was trace over the head of Megatron & I added my own expression also I added the shades on his face. For the background I used a gradient & I added some filters/effects to make it look more 'eye catching', I too did this for the shades, decepticon symbol, slogan, & Megatrons face. I did all of this in illustrator but I made this a .JPEG file in photoshop. This is one of my favorites because all of the effects look decent & finalized instead of looking unfinished,.
