The 26th Grand Ad Clash: A Showdown of Creative Advertising Young Bloods
PUP Grand Ad Clash is the annual Integrated Marketing Communication Contest for the senior students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines' Department of Advertising and Public Relations. On its 26th year, six teams participated for this grandest pitch with Maynilad Water Services Inc., the largest water service provider company in the Philippines as its client.
Several people were chosen to be part of the judges such as Maynilad's key people - Abigail Ho, Head of Advocacy & Marketing, Francisco Arellano, Senior Assistant VP - Corporate Quality, Environment Safety & Health, Lorenne Alejandrino, Head of Marketing Services, Rosmon Tuazon, Head of Advocacy, Franco Rebarter, Commercial & Marketing Specialist and Mark Ferdinand Pasion, Visual Communications Supervisor. Aside from that, Dr. Edna Bernabe, Dean of the College of Communication were invited along with notable individuals from the advertising & public relations industry such as Biboy Royong, Creative Director from Dentsu JaymeSyfu, Harold Geronimo, Assistant VP & Head of PR Communications from Megaworld Corporation, Jules Ivan Cabigon, Creative Director from Digital FCB Manila and Soleil Badenhop, Digital Copywriter from Dentsu JaymeSyfu.
The 26th Grand Ad Clash was organized by the junior students of Advertising and Public Relations in cooperation with the generous sponsors and media partners. The event happened at SM City San Lazaro last April 9, 2016.
