The city of Boston and the Boston Society of Architects invited the public to determine the future of the city's historic 1908 swing draw bridge.  The current structure crosses Fort Point channel, once serving as a vehicle, pedestrian, and train conduit between South Boston and Boston's financial district.  These four proposals aim to preserve the spirit of the structure, while creating a brand new, vibrant public space reflective of the character and culture of the Fort Point area.
