War: A lesson in Interactivity

The Great War Infographic is not just a timeline. It is an interactive infographic created with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Pro. It was a lot of fun researching and crafting stories for each of the soldiers. Pondering who they might have been and giving details of their life and participation in the war made their history interesting and more intriguing.
History our greatest teacher taught us a lesson in creating interactive infographics. What makes a button a button? And what makes a person hover, push, or click?
Each person featured in the infographic served in the war. We were asked to create compelling stories for each person based on the information provided. How do you tell someone's story and show who that person might have been within the given parameters? Through the use of creative writing, that's how.
