Her, Title sequence
This project is made in my first year at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts
for the subject Audio Visual Design.
These videos are segments of a title sequence design I made for the movie 'Her'.
The movie 'Her' is about a man (Theodore) who falls in love with an Operation System called Samantha.
Even though an OS is just a piece of technology, Samantha gives him the feeling that she is a real person.
What stood out to me was that both characters throughout the movie are evolving.
Samantha for instance is learning how to understand herself and her feelings.
Her knowledge is expanding in Human interaction and emotional intelligence.
Theodore on the other hand is expanding in Happiness and learns how to move on from a break- up.
They both learn a lot about themselves but also about each other.
In my title sequence film the expanding lines represent their journey.
The Typography used in the film is inspired by the theme of technology, and how big of a part it plays in their futuristic world.
