There has been a lot of violence being aired through the news and social media relating to the issues of Black Lives Matter. Instead of focusing on the hate, terror, and death I wanted to create a piece that symbolize the struggles that African Americans go through but it a more positive light. Everyone has experienced some form of mistreatment in their life. I wanted to show that regardless of the struggles a person is going through, with enough love and positive every person can shine.
