I designed talmuds for the National Museum of American Jewish History's National Educators' Institute. Talmuds are teaching documents that use a central image with related quotes from various sources surrounding the image. Students analyze the image, then close read the text surrounding each image and draw connections between the text and the image, and across texts, by focusing on a central theme.
The final talmud is a reverse talmud, which instead uses a central text and images surrounding the text to function in a similar way.
