The design of the Songbird mobile app parallels other mobile music app user-models but emphasized the Songbird quality of multiple media options also associated with each album. At a high level, we saw this opportunity as a way to bring additional depth and interest to music albums beyond the "utility" of just the music itself. 

The desktop app parallels iTunes as a music player, but also integrated other extensions that could expand the experience beyond just music playback. The application sorts through other Web content related to the music that is being listened to and adds an additional layer of information to every song.

Here, you can see additional tabs that showcase additional content like videos, artist information, and photos (and news) from around the Web. The overall experience brings a whole new dimension to music passions. Our work focused on developing a modular framework for these extensions to exist within the overall library application.

After developing the application, we focused on providing a vision for marketing the application and building out the identity and Web site for the company.
